Year 6 Transition Days - Tuesday 1st and Wednesday 2nd July

On the 1st and 2nd July the school will be welcoming the new Year 6 cohort for their Transition Days. As we are still a growing school, and whilst being on the new site has afforded us the space we need to accommodate the students, the staff we need to teach them do not start until September. For this reason the school will be closed to Year 7 on Tuesday 1st July and Year 8 on Wednesday 2nd July. We will set work for students to complete at home and apologise in advance for any inconvenience this will cause. Thank you for your support.

Welcome to Bluecoat Trent Academy, a brand new Free School opening for our first Year 7 cohort in September 2021. Bluecoat Trent will be the newest addition to Archway Learning Trust’s family of schools.

Working together; transforming lives

The Archway Learning Trust believes in the transformational power of education for each individual and that this is enhanced through collaborative working between the academies within the Trust. The vision for all Archway schools is to transform the life chances of all children, having special care for the most vulnerable. The Bluecoat Trent Academy will draw on the strengths and expertise from across the Trust in order to expand the provision of outstanding education in Nottingham City.

Nottinghamshire Police and the East Midlands Special Operation Unit are set to host free Webinars for parents and carers.

This is to support anyone living or working with teenagers to support the learning of how to protect yourself and your child’s online security, privacy, and parental controls. 

Cyber Security is the protection of devices, online account data and software to protect them from unauthorised access and cyber-attacks.
